News: Man, 50, dead after crash with vehicles, tree in Brookline
BROOKLINE, MA – A 50-year-old man died after he crashed his car into two other vehicles and a tree off Route 9 near Brookline Reservoir Sunday.
The collision was reported before 3 p.m., according to NBC Boston. Although it has not been confirmed, officials speculated that the 50-year-old man may have suffered a medical episode prior to colliding with the tree and other vehicles.
When the man collided with a tree, the impact had trapped him and his wife. They were extricated and then sent to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The man later died there, and his spouse is in stable condition.
The three other occupants from the other automobiles had suffered minor injuries.
Additional details will be posted when it becomes available.
