Massachusetts fatal car accident: Victim ejected from vehicle

People always seem to be in a hurry, and this can often cause negligence. Normally this only causes someone tripping or tripping someone else. However when these people get behind the wheel it can create catastrophic scenarios. This can leave other drivers seriously injured or even dead. Unfortunately, a man in Massachusetts was recently killed after another driver caused a fatal car accident.

A 40-year-old Massachusetts man was ejected from his car after a head on collision with another vehicle when the other driver that was involved was trying to pass another car when he moved to the left and struck the median. He was then ejected from his car, which then struck the car the 40-year-old was driving. The man suffered serious injuries, but he did survive. State police arrived and found local police performing CPR on the second man, but was unable to revive him. The man that caused the accident was treated for head injuries and taken to a local hospital.

The man was issued a slew of citations including driving to endanger, marked lanes violation and speeding. The accident shut down the road for almost three hours while crews came in to investigate the scene and clean up the accident. Investigations are still ongoing.

The family of the deceased man may have new bills because of final expenses. The family of the deceased man may have the right to seek monetary compensation because of the fatal car accident. These types of civil proceedings are independent of any criminal charges, though a conviction earned in criminal court may be offered as evidence of wrongdoing in a related wrongful death claim brought against the Tewksbury man and any separate owner of the vehicle he was operating.
