News: Three-vehicle crash in Freetown leaves two dead, one hurt
FREETOWN, MA – Reckless driving contributed to a multi-vehicle collision reported around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The driver of a black Kia Sedona was driving at a high rate on northbound Route 140 and crashed into three vehicles, NBC Boston reported.
The impact caused the minivan to then collide with a tree.
One driver from one of the stuck vehicles sustained minor injuries.
The minivan passenger, a 70-year-old woman, and the driver, a 54-year-old man, succumbed to fatal injuries.
The right lane closed, however; all travel lanes have reopened since.
Police have not revealed the names of the drivers involved or additional details.
